An experienced event planner saves you time and money, alleviates stress and worry, and gives you peace of mind so you can sit back and enjoy the moment. We coordinate all aspects of your event including supplying reputable vendors and suppliers, negotiating the best rates, discounts, terms and conditions on your behalf. 

Deposits are refundable up to 50%. The amount of your refund for your deposit will depend on if other venues or partners have been paid and require their own deposit, which means they will have their own deposit policies. A deposit refund is also determined by the products already purchased for your event and the return policy for each item.

While some of these things may be out of our control, we will ensure our clients are prepared and informed every step of the way. 

Event planning is a tricky business. Things happen, emergencies come up, and sometimes dates need to be changed. With deposits and different events, though, this may be more difficult in some cases. We can always discuss putting an emergency cancellation or rescheduling process in place for your special day.

Edify Events is committed to serving our clients at affordable rates and is happy to provide payment arrangements on all services we offer. All balances must be paid in full prior to set up.

Planning for events is something that takes time—and all events have their own timeline. While we can’t possibly provide an exact timeline for each unique event, here is what we advise:

Weddings | 9-12 months in advance

Banquets/Corporate Events | 6-9 months in advance

Baby Showers | 3-4 months in advance

Graduation Parties | 3-4 months in advance

Birthday Parties | 4-2 months in advance

Pop-Up Shop Sets | 3-1 month in advance

Prom Sets | 4-2 months in advance

Balloon Sets | 1 month in advance

Training/ Seminars | 4-2 months in advance

Private Events | 6-2 months in advance

Being in the event planning industry, we have all kinds of connections! The purpose of hiring an event planner is to have someone who can manage it all. We have vendors who offer all types of services including setting up catering, photography, tables, chairs, and other services that may be needed for your event. The more we can assist, the better…but we don’t have to do it all! We work great together with other vendors our clients may have hand-selected and we are happy to keep our vendor list growing.

Edify Events was established in June 2020. However, our owner has been a professional in the industry since 2011. We specialize in birthday parties, private events, corporate events like banquets, trainings, and seminars, as well as unique balloon artistry.

We can certainly provide this service! This will allow you to concentrate on being fully present at your event and not worrying about the behind-the-scenes operations. This service is billed at the regular hourly rate based on your type of event.

It’s great to have an on-site coordinator for the day of your event. Still, we will be there to help guide you from your planning beginnings to the day of your big event. For those who do not have an on-site coordinator, we will be available to help if you so desire.

At Edify Events, we treat your event as if it is our own. We’re here to make your dreams a reality and help you figure out what your options are throughout the process. Unlike other larger planning services, we offer one-on-one services and are always present to ensure a successful event.
